Adriana Zuniga was born in Mexico City in 1959 where she spent her infancy and adolescence. She then moved to the United States where she lived until returning to Mexico in order to pursue her university studies, graduating with a degree in Graphic Design.

She presently lives in Vancouver, BC, Canada, where she dedicates herself to the art of painting and drawing. Acrylics, watercolours and mixed media are the techniques studied and mastered with many different teachers and, above all, by means of constant experimentation fired by the desire to achieve new heights of expression in her work.

Proof of her dedication to the development of a truly expressive and individual style may be found in the fact that Adriana Zuniga's artistic creations have been featured in numerous group exhibitions and individual shows.

Her artwork is unique in that it depicts different objects and people as seen from the perspective of her own internal reality.

Colour, strength, subtlety of line: these are all the basic components of Adriana Zuniga's works of art.
